I don't think i've posted this one before either... it was recorded in the late 90's and was entirely done on a couple of cassette decks...

P.S. here's an AMAZING bit of trivia about Mr. Welk... between the bubbles, cocktail schwaltz, and endless polkas, his love for Surf Music would surface...
Yes, Surf rock...Astonishingly, he had some of the surf greats on there! Such as the Astronauts, The Chantays, Surfaris, and i think even the Fireballs etc...
....You'll never think of him in the same light again!
i wish more tape had survived of these.. they were the first thing to go when allocating show time... although the show was , for the most part, live , some bits were taped...
